🤷🏽‍♀️ I Am BORING 🤷🏽‍♀️YEP, I am one of the boring PT’s, squirrelled away in my gym and online getting results………I’m not adding fancy bits of kit. I’m not doing a course in alternative exercise………I am repeating movements with clients and progressively loading them. YES training needs to be enjoyable……fun, but essentially it needs to get results!!! Which means REPEATING the compound movements, following programmes (even the ones you dislike), upping the weights even when it feels hard and icky and getting consistent. Muscle is built LIFTING WEIGHTS. Muscle is built with the very unsexy stuff. Muscle is built when consistency and repetition is nailed!!!I never change my principles. WHY WOULD I…….they work. Im not here to impress people with new shiny fads, I’m here to help people change their lives, transform their body and live a long, healthy life. I never post fancy workout videos (I have not got the time for that shit!!) with exercises you have never seen before (I do what works!!) and I will always be real.Getting into shape (NOT weight loss, I mean in shape, muscle, tone and definition…..what we all truly want!!) is NOT SEXY!! Its prepping your food, its doing the workout even when you do not want to with exercises you may HATE!! It’s repitition…….yep, it could get boring sometimes and it’s CONSISTENCY!! Accepting changes may come slowly. Accepting sacrifices will have to be made………but before you know it they are not sacrifices, they are choices. Its not sexy, its not fun at times BUT its all worth it to get to that destination.So, yeah, I am that boring PT that isn’t posting fancy workout videos, my programmes use compound movements that work, my recipes are simple, my principles are easy to follow with ZERO need for calorie counting apps and tracking.If you want REAL support from a PT that has been there, got the t shirt, been round the block and worked with thousands of people then I am your girl………..In September THRIVE my new programme launches.
